Searching for the perfect chocolate croissant

This post has a song that goes with it.  Click on the youtube video at the end of the post to begin the music and sit back and enjoy the food I've eaten in Geneva.

A nutella, hazelnut, banana crĂªpe at breakfast.  It was moist and buttery.

I borrowed the bike again - with the mission to find the perfect chocolate croissant.

I love fruit and veggie stands

It's no trip to Europe without a pizza.

No croissants here, just macaroons.

For lunch I had an amazing dish at a restaurant on a little peninsula of Lake Geneva.  It was a ratatouille with a couscous chickpea salad, topped with sprouts, arugula, and a slice of pomegranate. I ate next to the water.

 Strawberries for dessert.

Ooo, croissanterie?!

I ate my chocolate croissant on the edge of the Rhone river.

Cheese fondue.  I wanted something authentic and when I walked into this restaurant it smelled like nasty feet.  Jackpot!

Fondue is a seasonal thing it is only served Sep-Apr.  Bonus for coming to Geneva in the winter!

Music to go with this post.  Okay, I know I'm not in France.  But it sure feels like I am!

  3. When you pay this much for food, it better be good! And yes, Erik should have been here because I couldn't finish most of this stuff. I only ate like 1/4 of the fondue.
